Game UX Analysis

I began writing UX analyses for the games I've played. It helps me confuse work and play.

Star Control: Origins

A space exploration story with great potential, plagued by UX problems to the point where they sap much of the fun from the entire experience.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

A medieval roleplaying game aiming for a strong degree of realism. It largely succeeds and might be one of my favorites, but some UX fixes could help streamline the experience and improve play.

Subnautica: Below Zero

A deep-sea exploration game, its ability to create a suspenseful atmosphere is truly powerful, but controls and interaction can be jarring and unintuitive.
